I was really running out of ideas, as I cannot find the HID-compliant touch screen in my Windows Device Manager and I cannot find the Touchscreen option in BIOS. Hence as a last resort, I open up my XPS and disconnect the battery cable. Then press the power button for 30+ seconds. WebMay 18, 2024 · The Device manager shows no drivers are needed for the touchscreen.. Other than those items, if all of your chipset and sensor drivers are up to date, it should work. I can't remember if it should also work on the Bios screens but I will check later. You might look at that also, since Windows is not running.
